An improved model with 3G support was released on 29 October 2017. On 14 February 2017, it was reported that a modernised version of the 3310 would be unveiled at the 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona by HMD Global Oy, a Finnish manufacturer with rights to market phones under the Nokia brand, with the price point of 59 eur;os. On 26 February 2017, the modernised version of the 3310 was relaunched at a price of &eur;o;49.

  The initial 3310 release only came with support for 2G networks, which led to criticism especially as a number of countries, including the United States,Australia and Singapore were in the process of phasing out their 2G networks; an improved variant of the phone with support for 3G networks was later announced by HMD, released on 29 October 2017.

Released primarily in Asia-Pacific markets, the 3315 kept the strong internal antenna design, excellent battery life, and rugged construction of the 3310, while adding new capabilities that made it a more advanced device for its time.

  This unit is BNIB and comes complete in its original box, an extremely rare condition for the 3315 due to its heavy use in the markets where it was sold. The phone features a bright yellow Xpress-On cover, one of the more eye-catching and desirable color variants of the model. BNIB 3315 units in any color are difficult to find, but a boxed yellow-cover example is especially collectible.

  Among its improvements are picture messaging, editable operator logos, automatic keypad locking, animated menu effects, and a time screensaver. These upgrades made the 3315 feel more modern and expressive, long before multimedia messaging or mobile personalization became standard. It retained the Xpress-On cover system, allowing users to change both front and rear shells for complete customization.

The 5110, also known as Nokia 5146 on One2One (now T-Mobile), or the nk402 on Orange in the UK, was intended for the consumer market, succeeding Nokia 1610 and the analogue Nokia 232. Its design is based on the same platform as Nokia 6110 for the business market. It features a similar, simpler, revamped user interface called Series 20, but lacked the infrared data interface. It can, however, be interfaced with a computer via a cellular data card and the appropriate cable, enabling it to function like a modem to connect to remote computer systems through the Public switched telephone network (PSTN).
  Nokia 5110 is rugged, has excellent battery life, and features an 84×48-pixel monochrome LCD with four LED backlights, operated by the Philips PCD8544 display controller.

  📰 Why this phone matters: The Nokia 6108 is one of the most unusual and innovative mass-released Nokia phones, designed specifically for the Chinese market and built around a unique flip-down handwriting input system. Released in the early 2000s, it combined a traditional candybar keypad with a dedicated handwriting pad hidden beneath the keys. The included stylus, neatly stored on the back of the device, enabled users to write Chinese or English characters directly onto the phone, making the 6108 a remarkably advanced hybrid device for its era.

  This full box example is extremely rare. Most 6108 units were heavily used in China and Southeast Asia, where handwriting input was a daily necessity. As a result, surviving phones usually show significant wear and often lack the stylus, manuals, or original packaging. A complete, intact full box with all accessories is very hard to find today and greatly increases the collectible value of this model.

  Internally known as LiBai, the 6108 reflects Nokias experimental phase, merging conventional keypad use with stylus-driven handwriting input long before capacitive touchscreens became mainstream. Its distribution was limited to Asia-Pacific markets, and because it was heavily used for educational, business and translation purposes, complete boxed units like this one are exceptionally hard to source.
